What else can you do with sodamix?

Hawaiian Chicken – serves 6
Submitted by Don S. of CA.

6-8 chicken breasts
(or 6-10 of your favorite pieces)
2-4 cups of Sodastream Orange soda

Place chicken in non-reactive bowl and pour soda over to cover
Allow to marinate overnight
Grill over medium-high heat until cooked through
(internal temperature should register 165F.)
Hint from the chef: Marinated meat cooks faster than non-marinated meat so you should adjust your cooking time accordingly.

Ginger Salmon – serves 4
Submitted by Kristy C. of FL

4 Salmon Filets
Sodastream Ginger Ale sodamix
1 small bunch of scallions

Place salmon fillets skin side down in a baking pan
Generously coat with SodaStream Ginger Ale sodamix
Chop one bunch of scallions (white bulbs and some of
green tops) into 1/2" slices and sprinkle on top of salmon.
Grill over medium-hot coals to your desired doneness.
Note from the chef: “We eat ours at room temperature, or on salad greens. Also goes well with creamed potatoes, or cole slaw as accompanying vegetables. You can also use a whole side of salmon for an impressive presentation.”

Cola Carmelized Strip Steaks – serves 4
(Inspired by Barbara M. of FL)

4 strip steaks
2 cups Sodastream Cola (finished soda)
Package of dry onion soup mix

Place 4 strip steaks in a deep baking dish
Rub meat with onion soup mix and pour cola over top
Allow to marinate 4 hours or overnight
Grill over hot coals to desired doneness
Hint from the chef: Marinated meat cooks faster than non-marinated meat so you should adjust your cooking time accordingly.

Cranberry-Ginger Pork Tenderloin – serves 2

1 pork tenderloin (about 1 lb.)
12 oz. Sodastream Cranberry-Raspberry soda
¼ cup of raspberry jam
¼ cup of soy sauce
1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger

Place pork tenderloin in a large zipper bag
Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour into bag with pork
Allow to marinate 1 hour or overnight
Grill over medium high heat for approximately 20 minutes (155-160 degrees internal temperature.)

Don't forget that soda removes stains and marinates all types of meats as well.
